I’m essentially saying he was correct to note that the news media is certainly not left wing. They go by viewership and do whatever is necessary to maintain it. That is then countered by the fact Fox and others of the sort actually are essentially right wing.

His point is valid even if his understanding isn’t correct.

You know I love being pedantic, so I would just like to point out that his argument that the mainstream media is right wing is not the same as saying the mainstream media is not left wing (something I completely agree with)!

I agree with everything you're saying except that he's right because IMO there's a very important difference in those two arguments.

Of course he was right. I've said it for years. There are a million examples. MSNBC forced their host to basically support the Iraq war and ran Phil Donohue off the air because he wouldn't. He had the #1 rated show at the time.

Check the media coverage of the Hillary E-mails compared to Trump's endless corruption and scandals

Look who is on shows like Meet the press, the questions they are asked and how they are legitimized.

There are websites that actually cover this stuff

It's not the actual hosts, of course they are mostly left, they are educated and way more informed than the public. It's the fact the media is corporate owned that causes the media bias against the left

If the media actually covered everything fair and balanced it would be non stop trashing of the GOP

The real reason that Biden didn't care about what happened to our Afghan allies, or the people left behind, and why the Biden admin is not that much better than Trump on asylum/refugees generally is this immigration number. People think immigration is an urgent issue even though right now it's really not at all.

Can you imagine thinking immigration right now is a bigger problem than covid, or even on par with it? Anyway, Biden's terrified of letting in too many people from "shit hole countries" because of how voters will react.

While not entirely accurate, I don't know why any of that matters.  The real question should be, is Sister Ray Dee O'Active qualified?

Politico reported that Mr. Brinton is the deputy assistant secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Energy Department’s Office of Nuclear Energy.

Sam Brinton received a dual Master’s degree in engineering systems and nuclear science and engineering from MIT. He is the son of Southern Baptist missionaries and a survivor of a traumatic and torturous conversion therapy experience. After coming out while he was an undergraduate at Kansas State University, he became involved in LGBT student groups and organized the university’s first Pride March in 2010. Sam later became a prominent activist in the BornPerfect Campaign to end conversion therapy and, in 2014, he was the first survivor of conversion therapy to testify before the United Nations Committee Against Torture. In December of 2016, he founded 50 Bills 50 States, a non-profit campaign to ban licensed professionals from practicing conversion therapy on LGBT youth. Sam has been featured in TIME magazine, the NBC News, Salon, VICE, PBS NewsHour, CNN, and MSNBC.

Why not delay it so that Ben Ray Lujan can vote if needed?
