And they banned users who posted enough negative posts to qualify those posters as harmful to their business model. Most mainstream news sources deal in fact when they are labeled as something other than opinion. They do produce plenty of “unsubstantiated” stories, but those stories rely on unnamed sources and announce that fact clearly. Sometimes they are wrong and we know that’s true, but more often there is something to them. As for bias, news stories from the “liberal media” is often as openly critical of Democrats as they are of Republicans. But you wouldn’t know because you only pay attention to the right wing propaganda. That explains why you constantly post opinion pieces and treat them as if they are actual news… Again, Twitter, Facebook, et al make their own decisions on what to block and what to flag as questionable. Decisions were made unilaterally because that how most all decisions are made. Mostly they showed restraint in their editorial power, probably too much restraint as they let way too much harmful bullshit stick around. But inevitably you guys are going to see every action against an extremist nut job or Nazi as a liberal plot. You think Parlor or Truth Social or Stormfront or Conservapedia or whatever other social media sites that conservatives congregate in now is somehow out there protecting liberals' rights to post anything they want? Are you going to start decrying their attacks on free speech or whatever? Get real. I do not even know what those things are. However, if you criticize those sites for banning liberal takes as a justification for twitter and google and Facebook banning conservative takes, you are admitting the leftist agenda of those sites and your insistence that covid posts were banned because of lack of proof is totally disingenuous. And those sites banned not only covid takes they disagreed with but also any story detrimental to Joe. So get off your high horse. The whole idea of “facts” is bullshit….
