IsntLifeFunny
New Jersey businessman Joseph Schwartz pleaded guilty to a nearly $39 million tax fraud scheme. He had withheld payroll taxes from his workers’ paychecks and their benefit plans, money that was legally owed to the Internal Revenue Service. Schwartz had served only three months of a three-year federal prison sentence when Trump granted him a full and unconditional pardon last November. According to a ProPublica investigation published March 30, Schwartz paid nearly $960,000 to lobbyists to secure that release. He did not earn his freedom. He purchased it. nine
An AP article offers a look at how past Presidents always worked diligently to avoid even the slightest semblance of conflicts of interest and corruption….and how the Trump administration has openly embraced and celebrated corruption, laying the groundwork for future presidents to leverage the power of the Oval Office into a shameless money grab from foreign interests. https://apnews.com/article/trump-organization-crypto-conflict-eric-deals-863d8850f536df291391e949ba1bc00e IsntLifeFunny

Democrats cow their own in real time. Doesn't mean the mechanism can't be exploited by Democrats, but it's unlikely in magnitudes compared to Republicans. There's no off-switch for them. In the last two weeks Trump has threatened an entire civilization, went after the Pope, and then posted an image of him as Jesus, or in a similar light, which by their own teaching is blasphemous. Their reaction is like Dan's. It's crazy. If a Democrat were to do this the political retribution would be swift and final.

I guess it's a good thing that one of Donald Trump's first actions upon entering office was a Presidential Executive Order stopping all investigation and prosecution of foreign corruption . Had Trump not shut down those investigations, the Trump family and their wealthy friends would have been in some seriously deep shit. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/02/pausing-foreign-corrupt-practices-act-enforcement-to-further-american-economic-and-national-security/ An executive order can be reversed by the next president. Then it becomes a matter of statute of limitations and whether the Supreme Court ruling of Presidential immunity for official acts applies.

OILERMAN
What's amazing is how accepted the corruption and fraud is. Trump and company are committing all this fraud and insider trading right in plain site while Trump pardons every fraudster out there, who is paying him, thereby committing more fraud. The media and his base don't care in the least titanruss, and Starkiller
