tgo
Just now, Starkiller said: A governor would have a hard time walking away from their state during a time like this without looking like they are abandoning people to try to get a better job. At this point, I think the top 3 options would be Klobuchar, Warren, and Rice. People are looking for an experienced running mate right now. Rice isn't actually under considering per the insiders. I've seen it thrown out there by commentators but she's a bureaucrat rather than a politicians, and there'd be a steep learning curve there on the political side. I have to think it is Klobuchar or Harris.

I follow Rice pretty closely, she's really unfiltered, potty mouth, all that. Rough around the edges and unpolished when it comes to playing the political game - I think it would be highly dangerous. Regardless though, she's not under consideration per recent reporting. Biden has also said it is important to him to have someone who has faced a lot of fire in the limelight lately (paraphrasing). It really has to be someone from the field based on his criteria that he's laid out over time.
thor
These are the people that American brothers and sisters deplorables, racists, Nazi's , pushed Russian collusion... They believed lie after lie and pointed fingers and pushed blame on others for not goose stepping... They call themselves Americans... Don't look away... Rice is likely going to be part of the Biden admin in some capacity, I'm just saying she'd struggle as a mainstream politician Having an experienced/tested mainstream politician like Klobuchar or Harris or Warren will be important. I personally don't give a shit about language, but tact and professionalism in a mainstream leader is an important thing for most Americans outside of the Twitterverse. I'm actually a big fan of Rice as a Cabinet level person. You can't throw someone to the sharks who hasn't been battle tested in politics, they'd get chewed up and spit out. tgo
Biden advisor overheard on phone in late March saying that Richetti and Dunn prefer Abrams. They are the two most influential voices in Biden's orbit other than his wife and Obama himself. https://www.thedailybeast.com/pressure-mounts-for-biden-to-select-a-black-woman-as-vp Things could have changed since then though.
