ESPN: Where will Mariota be next year?

I thought this was an interesting topic and many people likely don't have ESPN plus:

Two people have him back with the Titans, one with the Raiders, one with the Texans, one with the Cardinals and one with the Packers.  The ones with the Titans made it seem like he'd be the starter and the other teams the backup.  One of the Titans guys did say that unless Vrabel is able to lure Tom Brady that Mariota might be the best option.

Despite all of the Mariota hate here, he is still a top-64 QB in the NFL. At worst he is still a very viable option for someone as a backup.

Nah I'd rank him higher than that. He's certainly got that Jason Campbell about him, but JC hung around for a while.

There are starting QB's that I wouldn't want instead of Mariota. When you add in injuries, he starts being valuable.

How do you know this?

Going into year 5 in a make or break year he literally took more time off during the offseason and literally did nothing to get better. If you aren't motivated to be the best version of yourself in his situation it's clearly obvious he doesn't love football.

Did you spend it with him?

You know absolutely nothing about what he worked on.  Sure it's possible he didn't do anything.  But it's also possible he worked to improve.  Again, you have no way of knowing what he did or didn't do and whether he enjoys his job or not.
