If you were as well read as you claim, you would know there are several D-Day monuments around the world. Reagan, Clinton and Bush all attended D-Day ceremonies at Normandy. Obama did the same thing on the 65th anniversary and visited the Normandy American Cemetery on the 70th anniversariy. In fact, Obama might be the only POTUS to attend two D-Day ceremonies. If you weren't always so quick to parrot right wing talking points, you would have known these simple facts.
