Mariota Injury Rumors

I’m a Mariota supporter and see his potential, but as was mentioned by others the injuries are starting to piss me off. So much so that I would honestly be looking at QB options for the 2020 Draft and I would not extend him at this point (beyond doing his 5th year option).

I’m not trying to be one of those panicking fans, but it’s eerily reminiscent of teams in recent memory who had a good QB who got hurt/had injury issues or regressed and the team made a surprise QB pick in the Draft or went an entirely different direction. Josh Freeman comes to mind.

The best type of ability is availability. Good news for Robinson: Easier to move on when this was not your QB pick.

Honestly, I can't even imagine what was going through the trainer's head.

Goddamn, this never gets old! Is it weird that I always get aroused whenever I see Locker's lifeless body in that vid? This would easily be on TR's version of Krusty's Komedy Klassics....

Think it's highly unlikely it's that serious considering they haven't even attempted to sign another QB.

agree, but the problem with nerve issues you just never know how quickly they will settle down, I really think JRob made an error not signing another veteran QB on monday when they knew Mariota was banged up, regardless of how quickly he gets back healthy there needs to be another veteran QB in here learning the offense because it's highly likely Mariota cops another injury sometime this year.

Several reporters have said his passes were "wobbly" or "lacked zip" this week.

Who knows how long this could go on.

Reporters don’t get to watch practice though? Just warn ups so how would they know?

There's an open part of practice. They get to watch more than warmups.
