Who benefits from a weaker, divided Europe? From an increasingly fractured western alliance? From the shadow of brother against brother in America?   There is no doubt in my mind t

Been pretty obvious ... Russia has either been a the source or has capitalized on the world wide swing to far right politics. I suspect it’s largely been the source since 1) the world seemed to be leaning left before that 2) the far right help Russia more and 3) where far right policies differed from Russia interests those polices have changed to pro-Russia stances

Only if Putin decides to annex more of his neighbors.

Not necessarily. You have to think the western world will regroup and retaliate which could escalate things.

Russia can’t handle that and it’s a slow burn issue. My bet is if there is retaliation it will be either cyber war fare or futher sanctions

there is also a good chance they just win this one

You lot don't even understand Brexit. If the US was part of an overly-bureaucratic and undemocratic organisation like the European Union then you would vote to leave EVERY TIME.

Brexit won't be perfect but when all is said and done we will be free to decide our own affairs and pursue our own interests.

Well of course America would never go in for something like the EU to begin with. The whole point of the EU was to find an economic counterbalance to US hegemony, right?

The initial numbers in from Brexit show it to be far from perfect. UK looks like it is going to get soaked in the final analysis.
