Bears are strong but their strength is about 80% of their weight. Gorillas is 6-10x their weight. That is much much stronger. The bear being faster and bigger implies that it is stronger. Not only that, the gorilla would run away. He’d posture for a while and act tough but he’d get the fuck out when the bear came after him / didn’t back down. .. if the bear even lets him leave. Bears have been known to run for miles at near sprint. Gorillas haven't been seen to run longer than 30-40 yards at a time. stamina probably wouldnt even matter though... Gorillas and humans peak around 25 MPH. Grizzlys hit around 37MPH.... give that gorilla a 10 yard head start and he's caught 20 yards later before he even gets tired. I watched a video of a grizzly chasing a deer and was shocked at how fast it was and how it was able to pounce on it. From reputable sites dealing with these animals. Not wikipedia. It isnt stronger. Do the math. A creature weighing 400+ lbs that has the strength that is 6-10x it's size has 2400-4000 lbs of force. 700 lb grizzly has about 560 lbs of force. Gorillas are much stronger. I never said either one would win you dense pos. I said, repeatedly, that this is a pretty even fight. But because all you guys just choose one on a knee jerk reaction because grizzlies are bigger. Then a bunch of you keep making false claims and presenting them as facts after having those stupid claims debunked repeatedly. This entire thread you all keep misrepresenting the size of grizzlies to make them much larger than they really are and minimizing the size of gorillas.
