Only the gorilla could understand that situation as a fight to the death in which he can retreat and attack. He’s able to climb trees and maneuver. As ive said if it is a 1-1 cage match then it’s the Grizzly. If it’s a 1-1 death match in the wild and the gorilla isn’t outmatched 400 pounds then intelligence likely wins. Wiki has large grizzlies at 10 and 1500 lbs.. large but not the largest specimens ever measured. wiki has the tallest ape at 6’5 and 483 but the heaviest at around 600 (but only 6 ft talk) .. the largest ever recorded. 1/3 the weight and 4 feet shorter.
