BobbyCoins
@Supdawg The Hal Finney guy who died apparently had this to say in 2009. This was before the lost BTC chopped the total amount down to roughly 14 to 15M. Also, the value of the world's wealth has gone up to around 431T. That would push the value up from $10M to between $28M-30M per coin. Supdawg
Supdawg
@NashvilleNinja , yeah I have seen that one before. It truly is amazing. Some people believe that Hal was Satoshi, but I don't think so. I believe it is Len Sassaman, who died in 2011. Cool article here. https://evanhatch.medium.com/len-sassaman-and-satoshi-e483c85c2b10 Edited August 29, 2021 by Supdawg NashvilleNinja

I suspect the crash could have at least partially been government actors trying to fuck with them. El Sal bought the dip though... Supdawg

Half of the btc subReddit pledged to buy $30 worth today for el Salvidore. So something fucky was going on. Starting to balance back out some. Supdawg
Yeah, this was a buy the rumor sell the news type of event. Open interest was really high and there was a TON of liquidity below 50K. I am not too worried right now because I am not trading. Still stacking away.... titanruss
BobbyCoins
Anybody hungry for a Bit Mac? For reference, 0.00009992 translates to $4.68. In the future, if Bitcoin ever gets to a $1M valuation those same satoshis will be worth $99.92 USD. The satoshi cost for that same meal will go down from 9,992 sats to 468 sats. According to the IRS all crypto is "property" but I've never bought a hamburger with a door knob or a window latch before so that's another one for the wtf box. Of course Bitcoin is a currency. It's also a store of wealth, just like how people have always stored dollars in their savings accounts. Yet you're not questioning that? The difference is dollars had already been established as a medium of exchange. But they had their beginnings too. OILERMAN
