Supdawg
Stock market ATH..... Fed's balance sheet ATH.... Inflation highest in 28 years... Cantillion Effect is in full force. Blackrock is buying up 100's of homes across the US for pension funds at 20-50% above listing price. The wealth gap is spiraling out of control because of below zero real interest rates that disproportionally allows to richest to borrow money at zero costs to invest into hard assets. We are so fucked... Bitcoin is definitely a hedge against this madness. titanruss

OilerTitanHybrid
Couple recent snapshots from Coinbase a few minutes ago. Was watching BTC trade in real time for a bit... Edit: Price was moving, but think the chart is delayed a few mins. Edited June 11, 2021 by OilerTitanHybrid

And stupid math is going back 5 years and saying what could have been to determine investment success. titanruss

abenjami
For those of you on Coinbase, make sure you are doing your transactions using Coinbase Pro. It's way cheaper and you can send money back and forth between Coinbase and Pro for free. The only thing the regular Coinbase website is good for is if you want to store your crypto in their vault as opposed to transferring to a hard wallet. The only thing the regular Coinbase website is good for is if you want to store your crypto in their vault as opposed to transferring to a hard wallet. Even buying a couple bucks worth of anything will cost you another buck. If you're going to use CB It's better to buy the limit of the fee tier. E.g $10.99. Anything more than that and the fee goes up from. $.99 to $1.49. And you thought Cash App was bad with their fees. $.03 on the dollar isn't really that bad. You'll spend $34 before you ever get to $1 in fees. Of course Coinbase Pro is the best option for avoiding fees, especially if you're buying larger amounts. But you also have to wait a week before moving your pile. Again, that's fine if it's larger amounts, but smaller amounts shouldn't be tied up like that, imo. That's probably the most irritating thing about CB Pro to me, the fact you can't make purchases with your debit card like you can on CB. The best thing about Coinbase Pro is the set it and semi-forget it aspect. It's much more suited to DCA and sticking to a budget. Load up your account with how much you're going to spend, set the limit orders for when it dips or goes up, and go about your day/week.

OilerTitanHybrid
Using Coinbase linked to my debit card for purchases here. Will create a Vault in the next day or so, when I get time to mess around and do it. The Vault will be where I store my BTC after I buy all I'm gonna buy. Then, hope like hell I don't wake up in a few years and say "What happened to all of my damn Bitcoin! LOL!

This is news to me and not what I have experienced. I can deposit directly from my bank account into Pro, buy, and transfer to Coinbase in less than a minute. There is no hold time at all.
