Will be interested to know what happens here at the FOMC June 15th/16th.

Cliffs: They continue to push for full unemployment, inflation runs high = good for BTC/risk assets

Inflation running high could lead to YCC = good for BTC

If interest rates start going up, that could be bad for BTC, but not mega bearish.

It's funny that people think Elon's tweets are actually what's making the market move up and down when it could just be him timing shit and tweeting right before any boost or dip to make it look like he's the one moving things.

Occam's razor and all that.

... or you can go with the princess bride of rationales. The market was going up and he knew it was going up but he knew that the market knew that he knew it was going up, so clearly he did not motivate the market.

Elon is a meglomaniac.

He can move the market some but if you didnt know @Jamalisms... and i'm sure you didnt. Taproot went through successfully and with no flaws yet with a "speedy trial" which is basically the biggest news to happen to BTC in about 4 years. It allows faster transactions and easier and bigger second layer systems to be implemented. The "speedy trial" implies that all miners and those running full nodes are in almost 100% unanimous agreement on the upgrade which showes how decentralized consensus can come about and be successful.

Elon simply timed his tweet with the release date.... surprise surprise - because he needs attention.

All you have to do is check the tweet time and check the movement direction the days before, immediately after the tweet ... and then  the following days after when the immediate reaction subsides.

so you got taproot, el salvidore classifying it as acurrency, an actual purchase of 500 million from Microstrategy, half of south/central americal talking to the lightning network on how to get on board and do the same,  india classifying it as an asset https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/bitcoin-india-asset-class-cryptocurrency-b1863968.html?utm_source=reddit.com

... and jamal thinks any rise is all because of a tweet that happened in the middle of this from a guy who most people in crypto hate.

lol.. imagine being that fucking clueles about anything.

lol

That makes me wonder: who in Westeros would be the first/last to adopt Bitcoin. You'd think Casterly Rock would be one of the last ones given the Lannister's love of gold, but they've run out of gold and the gold that they took from Highgarden they had to give to the Iron Bank.

Dany doesn't need Bitcoin, gold, or anything else. She has a fucking dragon. "Gimme yer shit... or dracarys!"

Yeah but her people need it and it's the movement of the disenfranchised

plus it's an idealistic type thing - a people's money not being controlled.

which is partly why many can't open their minds to adopt it yet in the real world. They are too broken and have lost their faith in the people of the world and like to assume the position... so the rich criminals that control them can have their way with them.
