Can't go broke when you take profits. I think Alt season will continue until BTC picks a direction and starts to make a hard move. I still absolutely do not believe that BTC has peaked for this cycle and the next impulse will wreck most of the alt coins especially on their BTC pair. I still have some ETH and LTC that I don't plan on selling until we double from current prices. May take a while to get there, but I am patient. I just keep stacking sats getting ready for the big move.

@pat You might get that big dip you've been looking for now.

If/when Doge crashes and people who sold BTC to get into Doge lose their shirts, the way some lost their shirts getting into BTC because of him, they're going to burn his body in effigy.

I saw that earlier. That's only a hop, skip, and a jump from trailer parks being bitcoin rich. Lol

Although that's probably only good for hackers. I can't see trailer park folk doing all that well with being self-custodial. Then again, maybe they'll probably just spend all their BTC on beer and Little Debbie snack cakes.

If Tesla wont take bitcoin now, perhaps the bitcoiners' dreams about Walmart having separate, first class, check-out isles along with discounts for bitcoin transactions are not going to materialize any time soon ever.

It is important to remember what is actually unfolding here with the adoption of the Bitcoin network. With bitcoin, all energy production and consumption now has a distinct economic cost. The problem that bitcoin is solving is the separation of money and state. The reintroduction of free market money will eliminate vast amounts of energy waste, malinvestment and destruction inherent in the incumbent petrodollar system.

Regardless, the Bitcoin network keeps chugging along, and the weak hands and speculators who do not have an understanding of Bitcoin sold their BTC to convicted HODLers, who understand the sound money attributes of Bitcoin, and are not shaken out by a tweet throwing FUD (read: fear, uncertainty and doubt) from the CEO of a company that has only recently became profitable thanks to massive amounts of environmental credits and government subsidies

Idk about how accurate that last sentence that says Tesla only recently became profitable thanks to those subsidies is, but it is a peculiar point the author raises.
