How will these people buy food and other things in the future once Bitcoin takes over the world? Do we just let them die of starvation?

It's a store of value. Just stop with the payment stuff. No different than gold. You wouldn't wip out a gold brick to buy a slushy at the 7-11.

Sounds a lot like baseball cards and comic books.  Sure, you can store value there, until no one is willing to pay for it anymore.

Pieces of paper with pictures of famous people that are only valuable because people believe they are... sounds familiar.

A much fairer one than the USD

This still feels like last time. Especially the time of year.

Really feels nothing like last time to me. There's so much institutional investment right now. The lows arent as low and the come up wasnt as far.... it's also been consistently above 10k since July. Last time 10k was flown past on the way up and on the come down. If the whole world didnt freak out and dump everything in March.. it wouldve likely been around 10k since February.

So many more people are using it now as well... even since earlier in the year. Hashrate is at an all time high and the total market value is way ahead of last time even if it isn't at an all time high yet.

Big drop the past 2 days. Does this qualify as a healthy pullback @Supdawg @titanruss ?

Yes. A lot of leveraged late longs got liquidated open interest dropped like 600m. Still bullish above 14 k but we will see. We hadn't had a 30% pullback. Definitely buying this dip. And willing to buy more if we go lower.

Yeah, most were expecting around a %30 pullback.. a couple really. Looks like it didnt get that low yet. If it stabilizes here for a few weeks, thats a very strong sign. It is still definitely heavily influenced on the markets

@Supdawg how do you recommend one actually hold a bitcoin wallet?  Without getting caught up in a soon to be deceased exchange or other bs service?

Get a trezor wallet. It's scary at first but as soon as you figure it out its gets easy. Cold store anything you dont wish to day trade or spend. Just dont forget your seed phrase or youre fucked!

This.... Although there are a few American exchanges I completely trust (Coinbase, Gemini) with my Bitcoin. But as the phrase goes... Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins!

I'd like to plug Celsius Network. They allow you to hold your crypto in their wallets and they pay you interest to do so. For example Bitcoin they give you 6.2% APY at the moment. So for those people who like to hold long term you can essentially have a leveraged long with 0 downsize or risk.
