oldschool
Its close. The sense of entitlement is insane. You would think the Titans have been on a 10 year run of winning 10 games a year and advancing deep in the playoffs with the way the fans react these days. Jamalisms
Maybe. But they're equivalent homers. Just depends on whether the most recent performance was good or bad.
NashvilleNinja
Winning cures all... except shitty game planning. But we'll worry about that another day.
scine09
They won the game. That's all that matters. The other stuff is for people like me to complain about while at work or while doing something else uninteresting. But they're 4-3 and whether they won 52-10 or 12-9...........completely meaningless. The Patriots won a super bowl in a season that they beat the Browns 9-3.
TeamRamrod
No. I live in Wisconsin and Packer fans seem waaaay worse to me. But I've heard that about fan bases all over. Probably just feels like the home fan base of wherever you're from is the worst.

In the long run being a good team is going to be more important than one win. Usually teams that perform well will win more games than teams that don't. But I agree there are a lot of dramatic cry babies on this board. I don't think I count as one of them. I find them annoying, but I also find the "everything is fine, we won!" people annoying. CreepingDeath
Due to my choice of podcasts and other NFL websites, Patriots fans, especially considering all the winning they have experienced, are super fast to whine and cry and be bitches at the drop of a hat. Every game is different. 95% of these teams are inconsistent and have games like the Titans did yesterday. The key is even with all that they won. And they have 2 weeks to work on ways to be more efficient than yesterday.

Mythos27
It's not about being a cry baby or whatever else. It's the fact that when you watch the team struggle to beat a team like the Browns you become concerned about your team's ability to beat teams that are actually good at football. The frustration and venting is an expression of that. If we had just squeaked by a team like the Pats or Chiefs no one would be complaining but you're lying to yourself if you say you're not surprised or concerned that we were taken to over time by the Browns and even then needed 2 possessions to muster a field goal and win by 3. We under-performed in a big way and fans don't have to be OK with that.

Btowner
Jeff Van Gundy's coaching philosophy was " don't ignore in victory, what you would not ignore in defeat". With that saying, you take any win you can, but you have to be honest and recognize your deficiencies. We had a thread calling Gil Brandt a POS because he picked the Browns to win. We are not the biggest crybabies, but we can get very close. After a win, we are quick to pull the disrespect card and after a loss or bad win, we are just as quick to want to burn it all to the ground. No gray areas with TR.
