Jourdan Lewis may be in play.

I doubt he's in play with Ryan, Lewis is more a slot guy and Ryan will likely play that position. If he falls to the 3rd round you never know though

Gareon Conley is strong possibility at 18. He will be a shutdown corner.

Heres my thing man.

I love Foster and Howard but draft is deep at those spots.

Lattimore and Jones were the sure  fire top 15 shutdown corners and Conley was right behind them with Jackson and King

i really think we should take Lattimore at 5 and Ross/Davis/Williams at 18. Why? Gives us a true #1 CB and WR day 1 and we can use our thirds to focus on the TE and ILB spot in three.

I think safety package is fine with Byard and Cyp.

If we can get Lattimore and McCourty/Sims on the outside and Ryan in the slot with Byard single high and Cyprien playing TE then the pass defense would be a strength

People point at Lebeau not having a first round CB in Pitt but he doesn't run the draft here and the moment he left they took one in the first. So he had input in Pitt but he also had an amazing front 7 in Pitt which he doesn't have here. We have a solid front 7 and good pass rushers but need to strengthen the inside backer of it. Cyprien and a draft pick will do just that.

Draft a shutdown Corner and put him across Ryan and play Byard high and watch our pass rush get another .5 - 1 second of time getting after the QB.

As for WR and TE a combo of Davis/Williams/Ross in 1 and a TE like Everett or Hodges in 3 or Kittle in 4 greatly improves the passing game and in turn improves a deadly run game.

Ultimately a trade back is preferred. Maybe Buff is desperate for a S or OLB or even QB or Arizona as well who have publicly said they are going QB early.

A little off topic but I would drop to 13 for their 2nd, John Brown and a future pick

Help me understand. Don't take TE or ILB bc the draft is deep at those positions. So, we take a guy at the deepest position in the draft?

I've been watching more film on him lately and he would be a great pick in the third round.  His game is closer to Kenny Stills than Cooks, but he offers speed that we currently don't have.

Both Stills and Westbrook played for Oklahoma.

I like Westbrook coming out more than Stills. If we go for a later round WR, I'd be beyond stoked with westbrook. He is elusive, fast, has good hands, and catches in traffic well for a guy his size. Pure slot guy.

I always laugh at when people don't want a guy like Mixon on the team because they can't stand for what he did.... Who fucking cares, he better be able to play and be eligible on Sundays. That's the only thing I give a dam about.

Dude is going to be on a squad, might as well be yours that benefits. If a guy has talent, as long as he isn't suspended he will play and fans won't nor should they care.
