EagleEye
I'll throw this out there and probably get hanged for it. Draft the versatile McCaffery. He's going to be a very good all around player in the NFL. And he'll be a better RB than Henry.

I don't watch a ton of Eagles games. 6'3"/212lbs and ran a 4.46 at the combine, and you think he's a RM clone? Nope. I'd take Jordan in a heartbeat. That's why I seriously doubt Howie will part with him.

But he's versatile enough to be the motion man, as well as eat from the slot and kill it in the return game. But if JRob goes offense in the 1st, I'd love to see him paired with Howard. NashvilleNinja
I wrote out a longer thread about this over in the draft sub forum, but I'm thinking that they either take Hooker + Ross or they take Howard + Ross. If there is a lack of one or two of those players it could change to Adams + Ross or Hooker + Davis, but I'm thinking the primary focus is between Hooker, Howard, and Ross with Adams and Davis as backups. /JustMyOpinion
Titans279
Since we don't have a general draft thread any more I'll just post this here. Sucks.

That's Howard and I don't think it's close. That's if they see it that way. They may not think it's important enough to spend a top pick on tight end. But it's an important need. IsntLifeFunny
I would take Leggett and McCaffery or Davis over Howard and a third round WR. A first round of Hooker and Davis/McCaffery would be nasty.

I'm also slightly starting to warm up to the idea of drafting Engram who I see as a faster Aaron Hernandez type. He might not fit exactly what we're looking for as a blocker but I think he'll be a killer player.

I really love Engrams game and to be honest I think he would be a big slot WR in the NFL ala Colston with the Saints. He dominates the middle of the field. If we get a 2nd Rounder he is who I would target and I would still draft a true inline TE later in the draft (Sprinkle, Roberts, or Price).

I don't see him as a TE at all if we drafted him. I've seen some comparisons to Jordan Reed, but Engram looks like a WR to me with a TE designation. Physically, he doesn't even look like a TE

I think it's obvious now after the first three days of FA what we are looking for at 18 We are looking for a dynamic slot WR... McCaffrey we have shown huge interest in and he would be a great a lot WR who can also return for us and would get 100+ targets in the slot. His agility, quickness, hands and IQ are off the charts. JR sees a Edelman 2.0 in him. Its also obvious how much we love the depth of the CBs in the draft. We won't take 1 in the first. It will be in 3 If I was a betting man I would say it's an ILB in the likes of Foster/Reddick at 5 assuming Allen, Thomas, Garrett are gone and Ross/McCaffrey at 18 if we did land Hightower it would really blow the draft wide open for us to grab Howard at 5 and McCaffrey at 18 and a CB and an outside WR like Godwin in

I'm with this if we sign a free agent at WR who is halfway dependable, yeah I know QBs make WRs but I'd also like to not have a have a bottom 5 WR corp in the league if at all possible. THE_TITAN
What's this sudden obsession with McCaffrey? He's a gadget player in our system. A good tight end holds much more value.
