LOL @ what Jones did. Dallas is in a desperation type win now mode so he takes Smith in round 2 and then a luxury pick with Elliot at 4 on a team with a pitiful defense

Seems like they were planning on using the 2nd round pick on Lynch and were left without a plan in place when the Broncos traded up for him.

Ya, the Cowboys supposedly were trying to trade up for Lynch also but Denver got him.

It makes no sense, they took the completely wrong gamble on a LB if they wanted be that risky

Hackenberg going round 2 was by far the worst pick of the draft. The guy is fucking terrible. He's an inaccurate, brainless statue.

57% completion rating or something like that.

RIP.

If he is inaccurate in college , it's only going to get worse in the pros.

Remember a QB by the name of Jake Locker...perfect example.

Hands down has to be the whole kicker thing. Can you imagine what would have happen to this board had we taken a kicker in the second round.  The servers would have crashed.

A few months ago there were some posters arguing it was a brilliant move when the Raiders took Janikowski in the first round.

Funny that none of them have defended the Bucs in this thread.

I just find it so hard to believe that you can't find a guy to grade higher than a kicker.  I mean who is so hard up for a kicker that they give up a first round pick?  You could almost let your punter make kicks for a year and survive.  I bet there's at least 4-5 guys we could sign right now and the drop off from Succop wouldn't be all that great.
