code
The roster is trash and Webster is 100% responsible for it. Give him credit for MM, Jurrell Casey and a few free agent defensive acquisitions. That said, his drafts have left us in total chaos. Mike Mularkey didn't have much of a chance. And blaming him for this disaster is 100% unfair. But the new GM needs his guy. Whomever that guy might be. Clearly the Adams family aren't part of the solution. I don't say that they didn't try. They did. They won the bidding for Whiz. Dammit. They have allowed Webster to be aggressive in free agency. They haven't meddled, and they haven't been cheap. But I think the culture of the franchise is toxic. This has been a 50-year run for the family. No Super Bowl wins. No playoff appears since Fisher was shown the door. Two of the worst seasons back to back in franchise history. As far as the roster. There is talent, particularly in MM and in the defensive front 7. That said, we are 20 players or so away from a truly competitive roster ... most notably on the offensive line and in the defensive secondary. Yet another season where I think we are further away from the SB than we are close to it. Let's clean house and hope that we get it right in the third effort to replace Fisher. Jonboy
I'm ready for a completely clean slate. My worry is things aren't going to happen fast enough (unless they are lining everything up behind the scenes). There will be a rush to interview coaches after the regular season ends and the Titans need to already have a new ownership and GM in place to begin that process. I just don't see it happening that fast. The likely scenario in my mind is AAS remains controlling owner, Webster is fired, Amy hires a head coach, then hires a GM. It's not the ideal order in my mind, but as long as Webster goes, I'll feel at least somewhat positive going into the offseason.
Starkiller
I don't expect new ownership anytime soon, but anything less than a new GM and coaching staff is a huge failure by the current ownership.
Stranger
Agreed on the OL & DB's being the weakest units on the entire team. You can't fix the whole OL with one pick, but replacing Griffin with Ramsey just might improve our secondary in a hurry.
Opus74
I'm not even that optimistic. I think Webster stays and hires another lame ass coach and the ownership keeps on making money.
No1TitansFan
The depth is the problem as well; injuries are going to happen to every team. We keep guys on the roster who aren't improving for years out of fear of admitting a mistake.
rugbyflank
Our depth is terrible, unfortunately, we had to reach much deeper into the depth chart this year, and it kept getting worse each week. Most of those players played hard, but they just dont have it. It showed week after week. Alot of unknowns each week on the field

NashvilleNinja
I felt hollow watching that crap today. I was switching back and forth between the game and Weekend At Bernies and My Cousin Vinny, two movies I've seen a hundred times each. They were more entertaining by far than that hot mess. If a new GM and coach aren't brought in then I am done. I can't get my hopes up for new ownership because I don't believe that will happen. There's too much money flowing into AAS' purse for her and her ilk to sell and no one can make them sell. But I'm not going to continue to follow this same old shit. I will find something else to do with my time until things change. Even if they bring in a new GM/coach I will be holding my breath for real change unless the people they bring in have a lot of strong buzz around them with very good resumes attached I'll always be a Titans fan, but I won't always give them the time of day if they don't deserve it. Watching a football game should not feel like going to the doctor for a fucking prostate exam.
Hooty_McBoob
If this weekend was fun, wait til next weekend. It's going to be Weekend at Bernie's Part III: The Titans Offensive.

rns90
I'm not planning on watching next week vs the Colts. I'd rather watch whatever game CBS puts on because those teams offenses can actually move the ball. And it doesn't feel like major torture to watch a team try to complete a downfield pass or run the ball for positive yardage.
headhunter
I cut DirecTV so i haven't watched any sports for over a month, and I honestly don't miss it. If we somehow end up being good then I'll go watch it somewhere but I feel like I haven't missed anything, the same teams go to the playoffs every year.
