N/A Posted August 24, 2014 Report Share Posted August 24, 2014 I have never done a dynasty league before, but I assume its is difficult to keep them together (12 teams, there will likely be many weak teams, and if dynasty there is little chance of improving outside of many seasons.) Is there anything in the process to mitigate that risk (dead teams)? Something like the worst 4 teams get 3 rounds of just them picking (i.e the annual rookie/free agent season draft is started with the first 12 picks being the previous season's worse 4 teams snaking through 3 rounds) for example. Basically that would just allow the worst teams to replace their rosters with promising rookies to speed up the ebb and flow of the league, keeping everyone's interest high year after year. By the way, you guys are awful for bidding me up on Carlos Hyde. Can't believe I paid $23 or so for him. Based on the fact that many of our teams are owned by posters who have been around for multiple years on this board I think we will be okay. Following drafts will be set-up to give the weakest teams priority. (reverse-standings, non-snaking). This will give weaker teams the best shot at incoming rookies. If for some reason someone quits or leaves the league, we will transfer their team to someone else on the board who wishes to play. (we may give additional incentives like an "expansion" team giving them multiple first round picks if need be). Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
