NashvilleNinja
I'm pretty fired up for this league. Mostly to give @CMJ a beating first week of the season. You're playing me in week one, you big dummy. And I'm gonna dick slap you right back into pre-season.
Cyrus
You're playing me in week one, you big dummy. And I'm gonna dick slap you right back into pre-season. I tweaked the schedules in order to balance things after I set up the rivalry week. He was originally going to play CMJ week one.

abenjami
@Cyrus How do the IR slots work? How does a player qualify or not qualify? Specifically, can I put Matt Prater on IR since he got a 4 game suspension?
Cyrus
@Cyrus How do the IR slots work? How does a player qualify or not qualify? Specifically, can I put Matt Prater on IR since he got a 4 game suspension? I believe it's just for players on Injured Reserve (or IR designated for return). They have to be tagged with IR by Yahoo - I think. In this case you would have to hold Prater on your active roster.
Cornrow Wallace
Well it looks like I'll get at least one season out of Marshawn.
NashvilleNinja
On the flipside... gotta love my pick of Eddie Lacy.
abenjami
On the flipside... gotta love my pick of Eddie Lacy. I still can't believe you paid $8 for Mett.
NashvilleNinja
@Cyrus,you think we could have 2 or 3 IR spots to free up spots on the bench for free agent pick ups? I still can't believe you paid $8 for Mett. I can't believe Nines didn't pay $50. But it's called taking a risk. If Mett turns out to be everything he's flashing potential on then an expensive 8 bucks turns into grand theft QB.
Cyrus
We already do have an injured reserve - 4 spots actually. It's possible that they don't show until you have a player tagged with the IR designation by Yahoo. Keep in mind, these positions aren't for holding injured players, but are for players who are placed on an NFL team's actual injured reserve.

abenjami
So, will I get to put Ray Rice on IR?
Jamalisms
Unlikely. Probably needs to be labeled IR, as opposed to unavailable.
abenjami
Unlikely. Probably needs to be labeled IR, as opposed to unavailable. I agree this is probably how it will be treated. Which, IMO, is complete bullshit. Suspension or injury is the same thing in fantasy football. Also, real NFL teams don't have to sacrifice a roster spot for a suspended guy. They get to put him on the reserve/suspended list and he doesn't count against the 53.
Cyrus
We have a deep bench. It's not as if you only have 6 spots to hold a suspended player. We have 4 more spots than your typical standard league.
