What if Locker develops this year into a quality starter?

I honestly think Baltimore got better...

Ray Lewis was a liability, and they drafted Arthur Brown at MLB who is going to be a freaking stud... Ed Reed was a liability, and they drafted Matt Elam who is going to be a freaking stud... They signed Dumerville, and Canty...

The loss of Pitta, and Dickson is a blow to the offense... But with their defense... I don't know man... Those boys are the ones to watch out for... After all they are defending champs...

I hate them, but I can't deny they probably have one of the better all around rosters in the league... Especially on defense

Elam is not going to replace Reed, he's more like Pollard actually (hard hitting sum bitch who's a liability in coverage)

SF, GB, Sea, Atl, NO (maybe a stretch on the Saints).

Maybe? The Aints aren't even a top-10 team in the NFL, hell they weren't even a top-10 team in the NFC last year. Not to mention their defense was the first in NFL history to give up 7000 yards.

Sean Payton is gonna make a world of a difference for them

A little bit perhaps, but he's not going to help the defense a whole lot. Their offense was still one of the league's best last year, even without him. It's the defense that's the problem for them.

The coach they really missed last year was Gregg Williams. Rob Ryan has his work cut out for him switching to a 3-4 and losing the guy they were counting on to be their top pass rusher doesn't help.

I agree personnel wise, but continuity could be a problem right off the bat.  I see them as an 8-8 or 9-7 team.

The Ravens def got better in the off season, especially on defense. A healthy Suggs paired with Dumerville is a great pass rush duo and Canty is a stud inside when healthy. Spears and Huff are also solid cheap veteran signings.

Ray Lewis was washed up, Ed Reed can't even practice now and Pollard was a liability against the pass.

If Flacco carries his post season play into 2013 the Ravens can make a claim as the best team in the league

LMAO!!! You can't make this shit up boys!

Translation....Of course that doesn't mean I don't want to make the playoffs. The fact is the development of Jake Locker is far more important towards the long term success of the franchise than making the playoffs one time when we probably wouldn't make a deep run anyway. We need a franchise QB period.
