No.....you can find guys who can catch the ball....what is harder to find is guys who can rush the passer.

None of those guys are the quality of Landry who was a subpar starter last year. Next year we can just watch backup quarterbacks sit back and pick a part our defense, because teams can double team Sweatt and Simmons.

You think we are going to get a starting EDGE in round 3 or 4? How has that worked out for us?

You can repeat it all you want but if your defense cannot affect the passer, you put your offense in a position where they cannot succeed. Its a yin and yang thing. Both sides matter, the Eagles just won a Super Bowl based on defense. We have actual pieces on DL....but yeah let's squander that. Lets ignore that we have inside D line pieces and just give them no help. Might as well trade Big Jeff because all you guys want is WR. You could care less that we cannot sack the quarterback.

Donovan Ezeiruaku, Shemer Stuart, Nic Scourtoin, Mykell Williams, Brayden Swinson I think the first three are off the board but I think Willams, and Swinson are there.

Agreed but I would lean to Edge, not WR. Our fan base seems content to let opposing QB'S have all day.

He's an average pass rusher in the NFL

Listen guys, The Titans at their best were always there because we had an actual pass rush. We need to get someone who can rush the quarterback. I don't know that we can find that guy in round two this year, but we literally have no one to rush the quarterback from the outside....no one. We actually have some guys who can catch a pass. The Eagles showed us all what pass rush actually means.

And yet maybe a defense that can actually get off the field might be a better option. We have bodies at WR. We literally don't at DE.

Maybe....if there are multiple quality pass rushers on the board. Would love to trade back.

Edge is 100% the priority in this draft. Every year you WR stans salivate over WR prospects, and yet we watch opposing QB's have all the time in the world to destroy our defense. We are going to waste Big Jeff's time here by not giving him actual help. How good could have Jeff been with an actual threat on the outside? Before you come at me Landry was not a real threat, he was an average at best threat.

Another Super Bowl between teams I could care less about. This was the worst-case scenario. The Bills would have given that "never won" feel. The Commanders would have given that "Rookie QB" wins the SB feel. So what we have now is the "3-peat" Chiefs against the Eagles and their toxic fanbase. The Packers won three championships in a row, but our current media is so Super Bowl focused they ignore the history of the NFL.

I do not think we can trade back and still get Abdul Carter. He is the only needle mover sure thing in this draft. I am now on board with just taking Carter at #1 This roster needs elite players, not average players. This fanbase has an obsession with drafting a WR. Hunter is not an elite WR. He's an elite CB but no elite CB is going #1.

I guess what pisses me off the most is the morons who try and bring "race' into this on social media. I simply want our team to win, and that should not play any part.

I do not want either. I voted trade back. I do not think either are worth the first pick. The wise choice IMO is trade back. But I am not sure the other teams would actually trade up. I would sign a bridge QB, and trade back just enough to address DE and get Carter.

Not sure if anyone else noticed but..... 2025 NFL offseason: Free agents, draft notes, predictions - ESPN One guy who wrote a segment didn't even know we fired Ran, or it was an old, regurgitated blurb that the editors did not catch.

I will not live to see a Titans Super Bowl, I am convinced. I only have 20-30 years left.....tops. This ownership is confusing. I am thankful I was a Packers fan before the Titans came to my beloved hometown. I will always love the 96 Packers. But it sucks that we suck so much. If we don't trade down........suspicion confirmed.

Maybe take a deep breath and pick neither Sanders or Ward, Sign a vet QB and draft the best player available. Don't settle for the best at a position but finally take the best player available REGARDLESS of position. We need to start drafting elite talent, and not settling for "need". This is why our roster sucks. Because we settle for a position fill instead of an elite talent. For the last few months there have been very few scouts who rank this quarterback class 1st round worthy. But as we get closer to the draft the same darn thing happens. QB's start to get overhyped. I just don't want to be the team that is so desperate for QB we overreach in a year with no one to reach for. And then we get another 2 or 3 years of this Locker, Young, Mariota, Levis crap......I am so tired of it. The 2026 is loaded with great potential QB's. I honestly could care less if we sucked again next year if we actually managed to fix this at the 2026 draft.

That was one heck of a game between the Falcons and Commanders. I usually don't watch if the game does not have a ripple on the Titans prospects. But I am glad I did tonight.

I just simply fire everyone. Get a clean start. Give the fanbase some hope going forward. Not sure it will work but I am certain whet we are doing now is not working.
