  1. Give it time. He was always a project coming out. He's way better than any rookie since McNair, which I guess is a small consolation given how terrible our QBs have been sans 2 and a half seasons of Tannehill, but he deserves more time.
  2. He's standing ten toes down guys, protecting this nation, trying to rename a lake to prove American power over our best friend. Excellent work.
  3. Canada might end up making parts of Michigan and NY go dark. If that happens it might turn into war. This fuck is pushing us to the edge. I doubt it happens, but the fact it's a possibility is only because these people exist by the tens of millions. I wish they would snap out of it. When Donald Trump and Andrew Tate are your vision of how the world should operate this is the result.
  4. CJ Stroud wishes he was Rex Grossman. He's one of the worst QBs in the league at this point. His rookie year was a complete mirage.
  5. After the debacle last year it's definitely true. That was a really poor season capped off with one of the worst playoff performances in the history of the sport.
  6. Get Barton off the field. Sheesh. He's supposed to blow up that play at the POA.
  7. I think Williams is also going to be a bit of a Ginsu blade with his athleticism and time spent at safety. Controlling those run fits will be huge in this defense, but I think they're going to be a good group.
  8. We've seen several great deep throws in TC. I think it's timing more than anything.
  9. The Texans are quite short in the area that matters most.
  10. That isn't the point. His pocket presence was one of his best attributes in college and last year. He's not climbing the pocket in the two preseason games, which seems like it's because he's struggling a bit with the fact they're telling him to run more. I think it'll be fine given time, but I'm not sure if this quick read offense is the best way to coach a guy like Ward. On the other hand, he is making his reads quicker, which is good to see.
  11. What's noticeable on the other side is he's being a lot more decisive with his reads and is obviously adjusting to the timing based offense. I don't think we can make any definitive conclusions, but it's obvious he's made progress on timing while still struggling with the mechanics.
  12. Yep. I was surprised by that drop last night and don't expect that to happen often. He still needs to work on breaking press, but I see no reason he can't be a better version of Devonta Smith.
  13. He's going to be a good one. Relax on it. I agree he's not a Justin Jefferson/Chase type prospect, but he's going to be a consummate 1k WR for a long time.
  14. Paying for the grilled cheese and for them to leave immediately after.
  15. Love is every bit as talented as Gibbs. His problem is he runs too high and isn't as compact as a guy like Gibbs or Bijan. If he stays healthy he'll be just as effective if they can put a surrounding cast around him.
  16. He's definitely stronger, has a lot more bend, and way better technique than Bailey. What he doesn't have is the explosion and his arm length will definitely limit him against good tackles. I don't think they're really comparable players. One is a pass rush specialist in the mold of Parsons (with tight hips) while Bain is more a Terrell Suggs type. Agreed though that he's going to be a really good player for a long time.
  17. I don't know man. They stated it was a priority to get the first team a lot of reps in preseason, so obviously they think it's important. I was a bit hammered after my FF draft last night and probably made too much of Ward, but it is noticeable that he does not look comfortable sitting in the pocket right now.
  18. Kid has great hands for a LB. I noticed that in his tape, specifically one towards the sideline where he did a full 180 leap hands catch at the peak. He's going to be a really good player. He still struggles a bit with run fits and getting washed out, but it's more not sticking to his reads and keys than it is a power or technique issue.
  19. Much ado about nothing. He dropped a ball and Ward sailed the other target. Ward not navigating the pocket is much more worrisome than Tate's preseason stat line.
  20. I get ancy when there's no one left to argue with in the political section lol.
  21. I do find it hilarious me and Mythos, the two largest Henry supporters on the board, are arguing over this instead of taking a victory lap
