Or would you prefer they go after Tyson or Tate with the 1st pick and go after an edge like Overton, Parker, or Sutton in the 2nd?

All of it really builds on itself. I'd argue the defense is just as critical for Ward's development. The defense can't get off the field which means the offense is on the sidelines and can never develop a rhythm or play with a lead. When you're bad all these problems snowball and compound. They need an elite receiver and an elite running back but I'd still argue that defense is a bigger problem.
