At least as far as sure handedness is concerned. I used to give Bongo shit for saying he had a drop problem, but that was only because he used his mud slinging abourlt Davis as an excuse to prop up his love affair with Zay Jones. If Davis hadn't had as much of a problem with skillet hands and had been better at fighting guys for the ball he may have had a better/longer career. Because the guy's college highlight reel is a thing made of dreams. The dude looked like a bonafide future HoFer based off that alone. Maybe he also would have been helped by being in an offense better suited to exploit his skillset but it is what it is. Callidus

Its not about having the best defense. Its about having a good offense and a better defense than the other good offense. or a HOF qb reo

Sam Darnold didn’t win the SB, that Seattle Defense did. That did not negate all of the other points that I had. Defense is still important but it cannot be leaned on as teh single greatest asset a team has anymore to win games - and definitely not playoff games. Taht seattle offense was able to score against a NE defense that had been stout all year. Both teams had good defenses. The seahawks offense was the better offense. The Titans’ offense was already better than that post Callahan, and Daboll better not have them going in reverse once they’ve grasped the new scheme. headhunter
The thing with Corey Davis that nobody mentions is that he was injured and had surgery on his ankle during the draft process. He didnt workout, didn't run a 40. And I was a huge fan but I honestly thought he lost a step after his recovery and wasn't the same player as he was in college. The Seattle Defense was far superior to anything the Patriots had faced. Darnold was a game manager, much like Dilfer. He didn’t completely implode the way Stroud did. That Defense fucked up the Patriots

Their defense dominated the pats. They still scored 41 on the 49ers and had to score 31 against the Rams to get there. You cannot be the best defense and win championships that way. Where was that great Seattle defense against the Rams?

I don’t see him going in the top 10. wow, I would have bet money that Lamb was a 4.4 guy, but you’re right. Hmmmm… I hope Tate is a full participant in OSU’s upcoming pro day

Also they had to outduel the Rams in the NFCCG game. begooode, and Pragidealist

You dont' beat Seattle by just having a better defense than them. You have to be able to move the ball and score on them and with them.

The Titans were the number 1 scoring defense in 2000. Eddie George coughing up the ball to Ray Lewis and Del Choko costs us that Lombardi. We demolish the Giants in that Super Bowl. For the Offensive purist that point to 99. We beat a Rams team with Faulk and Warner only to come up one yard short due to Fisherball and EG That was 26 years ago that Dilfer won that SB.. almost 3 decades. That's ancient history.
