Saleh definitely has a good history with edges. Johnson and Bryce Huff were good starters and then fell off dramatically after they no longer played under him. Obviously the injury is a big factor for Johnson, but Huff was a huge disappointment in Philadelphia after signing a big contract. Maybe he can work his magic with Femi. I haven't seen anyone address how well he fits as an every down DE in a 4-3 rather than a pass rushing specialist. I personally don't think he's in contention for teh Titans at 4. I think its Bain, Love or Tate at 4. (or trade down if they get a haul). All of this talk of their interest in possibly taking an edge seems more to me to drum up trade offers- so they can try to get a haul from someone like the Cowboys. Bain can play inside and out the way Saleh likes and fits the 4-3. He's also the one both Simmons and Cam talk up. (admittedly doesnt mean much) I don't think either Reese or Bailey are that likely but who knows- draft is a crapshoot. Last episode of F Words, I pointed out in the chat how the last time Daboll had a "generational" running back with Barkely, he never had a higher YPC than Pollard did LAST season. I even acknowledged in the message it wasn't the end all be all but maybe worth thinking about in relation to using the 4th overall pick.
