Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

Where does Ryan Williams fit?

He really disappointed this past season and I think he needs to perform better. I also think his highlights early in the 2024 season made everyone overhype him a bit and ignore or assume he'd improve some necessary details to be a successful receiver.

He's shown to have unreliable hands and has a poor catch radius. Hes also not able to get himself involved into the offense unless its a deep pattern. Simpson lost confidence in him and trusted Bernard and the freshman Brooks more.

I think Williams will still go 1st round though. Hes a playmaker

As a 4th guy somewhere

So he's got a lot of ground to cover to recapture that early hype.

Yes. But the fact that he chose to stay at Alabama tells me he will bounce back which will be a very positive note for him as a prospect (to recover from setbacks). Usually in disappointing seasons, college players these days enter the transfer portal. There was a time when many were saying he was the best freshman in America and one of the best freshman receivers ever before Jeremiah Smith shut that down.

Williams has a lot of natural talent. Again, id be shocked if he's not a 1st rounder next year.

Speaking of Williams-- in a similar vain-- a player i was excited about in his freshman season then cooled on is Zachariah Branch.

I stopped being a fan of his and even laughed at the idea that he could be a 1st rounder. The more I watch him now, the more I think my thoughts are changing about that. Gunner Stockton held Georgia and him back. I think he was much more capable than what they asked him to do.

I think he's in play at 35 if we dont go receiver at 4.
