With this quote from Saleh today it is going to be very interesting viewing when all the EDGE/LB/DL prospects (hopefully including Bain) get measured on Thursday.

 

“Arm length is always going to be key, especially with a team like this that plays more of a zone style. Those long arms close up passing windows and do all the different things that we ask them to do. So it’s really every position where arm length is a big deal.

The meat of what he was referring to re: arm length is clearly related to DBs. 
 

That said, we know this FO is analytically inclined when it comes to player evaluation and he did say that it’s “really every position”

The question was initially asked in terms the DL and getting their arms into the QB passing lanes.
