Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

Your "pee pee" can tingle all it wants but no matter who we draft at corner with no pass rush they will be toast.

I’m happy for you this year. This is the first year in forever it looks like we could be taking an EDGE in the first!

I will say I’m going to laugh my ass off and feel for you if they take a WR instead.

Not another guard?

Why? Makes no sense

There is no doubt in my mind that Reese can be a full time edge player.  I think he has way more upside than bailey and had he played edge full time this past year he easily puts up double digit sacks against better competition than Bailey faced despite sitting out the 4th quarter of most games because of the score.

It's also not like this is some crazy take.  Daniel Jeremiah is probably the best draft evaluator in the media and he has Reese as his top ranked defensive player and believes he is a full-time edge in the pros.

I can't find many snaps on video of him rushing from the Edge, but the ones I've seen have been really impressive. He can win with both speed and strength.

I'd guess Bain is gone before 4....

He does have a safer floor than the other two.  And the Jets have complained about their DE’s getting washed out vs the run because they are just too small.  Unless they go WR (lol), it seems like Bain has a better chance than Bailey .

That’s probably the best one I’ve found.

But there’s a lot of off ball/standing up stuff since  it’s all his defensive snaps.

I admit it would be funny. It would not ruin my day but I will be a little salty.

I don't have a clue what the Jets are going to do. Most of the mocks have them going EDGE, but they could draft just about anyone and it wouldn't shock me. Even Love or Downs I could see them taking.

The Jets had ZERO INTERCEPTIONS this season so I'd say they could even go playmaking DB like Delane or Downs. I could see Glenn pushing for it as a former CB himself.

I don’t think much of the Jets FO or ownership but they aren’t that stupid to take a S or CB (after trading away Gardner) at #2.

Not at 2, but in a trade down maybe. Some team maybe 6-10 that wants to come up for one of the DE.

Maybe Dallas at 12.  But they’d have to overpay.

Teams 6-10.

CLE; probably not

WSH: no 2nd rounder

NO: generally they don’t move up

KC; not really, they need OT  more

CIN; not happening , they are not giving up a ton for a DE.

If Bain is gone I’m more inclined to find a trade down or draft Tate/Lemon.

I like Bailey, but if we have Tate rated higher, I’d probably take him over Bailey.

I czn see a good argument for both of them. Tate gives ward that big sure handed target to just go yolo with. Everything Ridley was supposed to be and maybe more.

Lemon is your definition of a chain mover, but he has the ability to do damage after the catch.
