Why does anyone obsess about a specific topic? For me on this, it is crazy how big a deal fans make of what a player earns. At least the majority have gotten past the whole "I can't believe athletes are paid this much to play a game!" garbage. Now there are fans that are looking to max/min the roster. Big picture? Sure. Good financial policies are great. Small picture? Fucking annoying. "Waaaaah - this RB is overpaid! They are SOOOOOO replaceable." <<then they are quiet when the replacement RB is pretty worthless>>

Me not wanting to pay midling qbs has nothing to do with not giving the players in general their fair share. Tbh I actually like the nfls model where the workers are guranteeed a good chunk of the pie. CreepingDeath
Starkiller
Veteran CB Darius Slay, whom the Buffalo Bills claimed on waivers Thursday, is unsure if he wants to continue playing and will not be reporting to Buffalo. rns90, and Callidus

OzTitan
Wait, I thought the safety rule was the field of play becomes like an endzone, as in any part of the ball outside means it is not a safety. The rule guy on the broadcast just got that wrong lol Callidus
1982
Clearly a Safety. Lions ripped on that play.

The whole ball has to be in the EZ, not the other way around (any part of the ball).
OzTitan
I mean it's obvious really, forward progress is where any part of the ball made it most forward on a play.
OzTitan
The rule guy is still refusing to admit it doesn't have to be the entire ball lol
