Between now and the time FA actually opens there will be a lot of potential options taken off the table.    Having the league lead in 2026 cap space is not nearly the benefit it would of bee

What is your obsession with this? I really am trying to wrap my head around it.

Why does anyone obsess about a specific topic?

For me on this, it is crazy how big a deal fans make of what a player earns.  At least the majority have gotten past the whole "I can't believe athletes are paid this much to play a game!" garbage.

Now there are fans that are looking to max/min the roster.  Big picture?  Sure.  Good financial policies are great.  Small picture?  Fucking annoying.  "Waaaaah - this RB is overpaid!  They are SOOOOOO replaceable."  <<then they are quiet when the replacement RB is pretty worthless>>

Ty. I still think you have to be fiscally sound even in the bloated cap era.

Me not wanting to pay midling qbs has nothing to do with not giving the players in general their fair share. Tbh I actually like the nfls model where the workers are guranteeed a good chunk of the pie.

Veteran CB Darius Slay, whom the Buffalo Bills claimed on waivers Thursday, is unsure if he wants to continue playing and will not be reporting to Buffalo.

I think he wanted the Eagles to get him instead

Clearly a Safety.  Lions ripped on that play.

No I'm pretty sure it was right, it isn't a safety. The whole ball has to be in the EZ, not the other way around (any part of the ball).
