Stats obviously don’t tell the whole story…but it’s interesting that Hurts’ passing numbers through 13 games are  pretty similar to his numbers for the entire 2024 season;   Hurts’  production as a runner is where he’s dropped off sharply.  
 

Speaking of which:  perhaps  it’s just because I’m not paying attention….but I’ve seen relatively little discussion about the dramatic dropoff in Saquon Barkley’s production this year.  
 

After 13 games. Saquon’s production is  a far cry from last year….only slightly ahead of his 2023 pace, which was his final season with NYG.   As spectacular as Barkley was last year…this year his touchdowns and chunk plays have dropped by roughly 50-75%….and his first down conversion rate has dropped to a very mediocre 15%.  
 

I don’t care or pay any attention at all to the Eagles.   But it’s interesting that Hurts is catching all the heat….because based on  what the stat line is showing,  the running game is the area that’s  truly taken a nosedive.

Barkley and Tomato Can are both way behind their 2024 seasons. I'm not sure what's up with Barkley, Tomato Can doesn't have gaping holes to run through this season.
