Between now and the time FA actually opens there will be a lot of potential options taken off the table. Having the league lead in 2026 cap space is not nearly the benefit it would of been 10yrs ago would even go as far as saying ending up with the #1 pick and trading back would be a much better long term boost to this team than having the most cap space this offseason.
