rns90
This is comical . The roster is being run by Borgonzi . And he has chosen to sign multiple WR to the practice squad and promote almost every other WR. But yeah the coaching staff is out to get Mr. Slow and short! OILERMAN
I think the staff knows he's not physically talented enough to play in the NFL. They almost refuse to activate him. Even if they do it's after a mass of injuries.

Well its a little more damning on them that they keep a bestie around instead of develop the team... because other than "we dont want to elevate him because if he's good we have to give him a roster spot" - that's the only other option. He's shown to be pretty cutthroat so far. He is probably pretty damn smart, though @Callidus. He's an ivy league guy. Callidus

He is just the poster boy atm. Its a strange situation to say the least. Either he is wrothless and shouldn't have lasted this long. They dont want to play him because they are afraid they will look stupid if he does actually play well. (Least likely) Or he is a teddy bear/charity case on wards behalf. None of those options are good. And again, before anyone thinks me saying they are afraid to play him incase he plays well, im not expecting anything from him. Its purely a matter of wtf is he doing here if they dont plan to ever use him?

I think he's a charity case that doesn't fit what they want in a WR (outside of work ethic) and don't think he can be successful long term... but know that Ward may help him be successful now... and that if he shows anything decent he will force cost a roster spot to keep him ... otherwise another team grabs him and Ward gets pissed. Though he WAS like a top 40 or so UDFA contracts... Him and Crenshaw-Dickson were our top 2 UDFAs.. basically the exact same deals except BCD got $1000 more guaranteed. Didnt actually know that about his contract. Thats interesting. Still got a good chunk of games left to see how this plays out. Will be interesting to say the least. I'm starting to think it was just in the contract (I can sign right now if you put my boy on. Keep him on practice squad minimum - no cut first year) Edited 53 minutes ago by SleepingTitan
