Well for anyone who cares to read this, here are my (lengthy) thoughts now that I’ve had a chance to sleep on it.   I’ll start by saying I'm not sure I've ever been more hyped for an episode

I loved the fact that Theon won his fight cause he has no dick. Haha

Am I the only person who hates all of the Stark children and wants to see them all die?

Sansa can die for all I care. Arya is pretty petulant and stupid in the show. Jon I like we'll enough but he's too-oft weak masquerading as wise. Rickon was a shit actor.

I like Bran.

WTF is there to like about Bran?  He's my least favorite of them all.

I'm sure it has to do with the fact that I haven't binge watched it, but I can't think of  really any likable characters. It's the biggest reason that I just can't get into the show despite the fact that fantasy is my favorite genre with anything nerd related.

Like destroy the Wall's magical barrier?

Hasn't happened yet, though I have no doubt it will because bad plot  writing is bad. Until it does, bad example.

Don't forget allowing the children to be destroyed.

A result of his action but hard to attribute fault when it's out of the blue and completely unpredictable. If anything, BloodRaven is to blame for not making risks clear... but there's an argument BloodRaven planned it or knew it would happen.

Let's also not forget he caused a lot of the turmoil to begin with.

If the little shit had simply obeyed his mother and refrained from climbing walls, things would be a lot different.

Also a result of his actions but hard to attribute fault when the result is so unrelated to the activity itself.

"Step on a crack you'll break your mother's back!"

Even if a butterfly effect of stepping on a crack somehow angers your drunkard dad and he beats mom and breaks her back... attributing blame there is silly.

It's not bad plot writing, it's just predictable. And I suspect GRRM will have it in the books, too (assuming he ever publishes the next one). There are only so many ways they could destroy the Wall's magical barrier.

I've been wrong before, but I highly doubt GRRM will have Bran get the mark in such a goofy way, then get booted from the cave because the magic dream touch destroyed all barriers, then take that mark past the wall without stopping to think whether not it's a bad idea. It's entirely too direct, simple and lame for his tastes.
