They wouldn't just be released for the sake of releasing them they all have very specific reasoning.

- Sneed has a degenerative knee condition and big contract that they can get out of after this year.

- Pollard will be a 29y/o RB who will likely have had 1300 carries and around 250 receptions and a top 15 RB cap hit in 2026.

- Woods is a veteran placeholder who they hopefully can upgrade and get younger at S next offseason.

I see where you are coming from, but if we are working with the idea that there's nowhere to spend it... then there's no real reason to save it. May as well keep talent in house until their contracts expire in the chance we get comp picks from them.

Hopefully after this season we find some gems on our own team worth extending to take some of that.

You don't continue to pay guys like Sneed if they can't stay on the field when you can always roll over the cap space for a time it can be better deployed.

he's a rookie. They'll be more. It's how he responds to it that will be the important thing.

I guess i missed the cheese cake stuff with all the other shit that went on with him lol.

I believe it was reported that VY dropped like $60k at the Cheesecake Factory in a single year - mind you this was around '06. Essentially $100k in today's terms.

Young loved food and molly. Lendale loved tequila.

This team lacks long term answers at so many positions.

So my question is whether Oladejo who projects as a big body physical stout edge setter who might get you 6-8 effort sacks a season is worth more than a potential 800-1000yd a season WR who already had a connection with the QB you selected with the #1 overall pick.

Femi, KWJ were pieces they needed and could be incredible with an adequate DL in front of them. I don't think you pass on those opportunities for #2 receivers. We have those at home.
