NFL Draft analyst @dpbrugler to me on KC Concepcion: "The NFL, they want explosive weapons, and that's what Concepcion can be, both as a receiver and as a return man. His release package, his ability to separate in his routes and then what he can do after the catch. That is somebody who is going to be targeted by a lot of teams just because of what he can bring to your offense - work inside, outside. I'd be surprised if he's not a first-round pick."

The flip side of this is SDSU CB and @seniorbowl invite Chris Johnson. Trusts his feet and trusts his technique. Rarely penalized and the two flags he did draw did not look like penalties. CBs like this have a huge leg up in the jump to the pros.  He's a solid round 2 pick IMO.

Agreed. One of my favorite CBs I’ve seen on tape. Interested in what he runs. Senior Bowl will be big for him. I think he can sneak into the back end of Round 1 before it’s all said and done.

He’d be the anti-Jarvis Brownlee, Jr.

In this particular draft where everything outside the top 4-5 picks is relatively even anything is possible. Parker could be a top 15 player for one team but outside the top 50 for another.

 

We could see a few more Cole Strange to the Patriots moments towards the back end of this years first round where draft media gets completely blind sided by a player or two going way higher than they thought was going to happen.
