OilerTitanHybrid
Stafford turns 37 next month. Has said he'd like to win 1 more SB, if possible before he retires. Can't see him coming to Nashville to wait out the rebuild.
Justafan
Carr would be fine as a stop gap. Stafford is a long shot but it could happen. Regardless, I would prefer a known quantity given the state of the team.

I’d prefer a potential franchise QB who could be the star for the next decade and a half

Well I have watched a bunch of his games and he has graded out as far as I’m concerned. I’m all in. But even if he didn’t, Stafford and Carr aren’t going to be options. We’re talking guys like Fields, JimmyG, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Cooper Rush, and maybe Darnold.

But that depends on how you value these QB. I don't see Sanders as that guy. And I'm personally lukewarm on Ward. I see him as way more likely to be on the Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, Jameis Winston, Kyler Murray side as an outcome than being the next Stroud or Daniels
socaltitan
I've seen some speculation Gardner Minshew might be a cap casualty. By no means is he great, but I've seen him play enough that I think he can fill that veteran bridge QB option and not be a total trainwreck.

They are not trading for a QB. I'd be completely floored if they did. If they landed on Carr, it would be the Russell Wilson scenario.

You don’t think Raiders fans were saying that last offseason?

XAEA12
I’d rather give Joe Milton a chance over any of these reclamation projects
