IrishTitansFan
I think there's merit to what @Mythos27 posted before. He raised it again. Sounds like Levis is a whiz on the chalkboard but just cannot do it on the field. Game moves far too quickly for him. It's innate and unfixable
Supernope
Brinker did an amazing job coaching him through that press conference

It's innate and unfixable One thing that I think is the hardest to find in a qb.. is even emotional state - under immense pressure, adrenaline, and intensity. The best can stay even... but I think that's one of the hardest things to find and see outside of live fire. I think that's why he was so up and down... emotional control stuff slows down thinking. ChesterCopperpot1
Callahan mentions that the way to build a roster is through the draft. Interesting...

I think many are overreacting and creating a phisopsohy mislaignment where one doesn't exist. Many teams will use FA to start a rebuild while they rebuild through the draft over a few cycles. Its seems pretty clear from Brinker's comments and Callahan and Carthon as well 2023 was an anomaly to field a viable team. looks like the over stepped a bit though and need to reset. Pragidealist
Its the small things he says. "I know I'm going to be a good football coach." That's the right attitude with self and public accountability. That takes confidence and humility... hard things to have in a press conference. scine09
That was a terrific press conference. Say what you want about him.

You know as well as I do that accountability will fall into where their assigned responsibilities are. It's why Carthon is in danger.

You can have cross functional collab team who each have their own areas they are accountable for. Instead and you and others acted like no one had decision making power. It will fall there.. and that is understandable from a practical "that's how the world works" way. That's not to say its due to Carthon being horrible or that its even ultimately the right decision.... we just can't know that.
BudsOilers
Callahan handled the presser well. Did a good job owning up to where he and his staff need to improve, acknowledge the results are far below expectations. Shrewdly took some shots at Levis and at being saddled with him and NPF. They have to priortize offense in some manner and give the new QB a chance to develop.
