You have a hard time answering questions because it requires you to think. I get it. Stick with The Party’s talking points. I will stick with common sense. This is not about Left or Right. It's simply common sense. Overtaxing citizens for government overspending is not the answer, whether you are Democrat or Republican. Eradicating the root cause of overspending, be that downsizing government or doing away with bureaucracy and governmental departments that are not efficient, is the answer. The answer is not taxing people more to cover the problem of overspending. We are Americans who work hard to pursue happiness and we don’t want that stripped from us because our government has a spending habit and needs our money to fund their addiction. We are not fanatics for political parties…or a least the most intelligent of us aren’t. LongTimeFan

The wealthy are vastly undertaxed. Republican tax cuts have nothing to do with the vast majority of the population paying anything or cutting taxes for them. Copy your answers from the previous post because I didn't get them. Here are my questions again. Now how much has the government overspent and on what? How is the overspending benefiting you? And another. What would stop the wealthy from leaving the country and paying zero taxes? You know how all the other corporations have left, leaving job deficits and paying zero taxes? I swear you mfers have to be the dumbest. Last question, and if taxes are raised on billionaire corporations, what do you think will happened. I will tell you because you are too slow to think through it. It will be passed on tto the consumer in terms like production cost etc. The average Citizen will still fork the expense. Are you really this brainwashed or just stupid? Titandan

We are far from overtaxed. The wealthy are vastly undertaxed. Republican tax cuts have nothing to do with the vast majority of the population paying anything or cutting taxes for them. Here you go! I will try to explain for you because you don’t have a clue. There is only so many times you can tax $1. The first tax comes from corporate taxes. If an “underpaying” corporation taxes are raised to let’s say 40%, it only has 60 cents on that dollar for profit and to pay employees. That means the company will have only 15 cents on that dollar to pay employees, which mean fewer jobs in the market. That hurts the average citizen and economy. Also, to maintain profit, he will pass the cost to consumers, once again hurting us. And then from that $0.15 that the common man gets, he will then have to pay State, local and federal taxes. He will have to pay sales tax, property tax, gas tax, cable tax, etc. We are paying a huge percentage in taxes and you are too dumb to realize it. You are being fleeced and increasing corporate taxes will destroy the working class. But listen to someone who knows and then listen to the idiot you trust. This was shit ain’t rocket surgery. Taxes on corporations are lowered because it incentivizes corporations to stay in America and for other foreign corporations to come, which increases job growth and stimulates the economy. Even with the corporate tax rate, corporations still pay over 90% of taxes collected in the US. Now, there is not one Democratic policy that makes sense. They may sound good, but they are horrible in practice. If you raise taxes, the corporations can leave taking jobs and paying $0 in taxes. We can have thriving cities or cities that look like Detroit. Which do you think is best for America?? And here is the dummy that you chose to listen to! SMDH! I’ve told them all 500 times that I’m an independent, but they keep calling me a lib who believes fake news because I don’t follow their cult. Intelligence isn’t a strong suit among the MAGA cult. Like I’ve said multiple times, there is a reason that the main GOP states all rank in the bottom of the country in education. “Those that can make you believe absurdities, can make make you commit atrocities” -Voltaire Mercalius, and Righteous 1
Mercalius
I’m an independent! *Votes Democrat exclusively for 20 years* *Only engages in discourse with Republicans to insult or antagonize them* *Marches lock-step to every Democratic partisan talking point since Obama* *talks about MAGA like it’s some disease that needs to be eliminated* *only consumes media with a blatantly leftist tilt and immediately brandishes anything to the right of that as misinformation* I dunno guys, but I’ve got a nagging feeling this new wave of independents may not be very big fans of Donald Trump. heyitsmeallen
I would HAPPILY vote for a Republican if they actually represented the working class or Americans in general….it just so happens that every single thing they have done since Ronald Reagan proves otherwise. They love to skyrocket the debt, then complain about debt when they aren’t in power. Love to give tax breaks to corporations which are never passed down to their workers or consumers, They are anti Union (Trump judge just blocked overtime pay for 4 million union workers). They are anti education (The billionaire Koch brothers have been working to dumb down education for decades), they also made student loans ineligible for bankruptcy filings and college tuition instantly skyrocketed, they created credit scores, block wage increases, they are anti welfare(except for when it’s welfare for corporations), they are responsible for privatized prisons, the war on drugs putting people in prison for things like marijuana so they can profit off of the poor, they don’t want you to get an abortion but also don’t want you to get any help at all when you do have the baby… they love privatized healthcare so that even calling an ambulance can put people in debt for years(we are the only major nation in the world without universal healthcare.) they are against improving infrastructure in the country, against progressing to different forms of energy…. I could go on and on and on. There isn’t a single thing the GOP has passed that actually helps Americans. Their only political goals are to “own the libs”, privatize as much as possible to profit off of the American people while they are in power, blame the Dems when their policies fuck up the economy, and take credit after a democrat fixes it. I’m an independent because I believe there shouldn’t be parties at all. Political donations shouldn’t be allowed, lobbying shouldn’t be allowed, attack ads shouldn’t be allowed, congress should have term limits and be banned from trading stocks, Politicians should have to run on their own beliefs and fund their campaigns themselves. I also think politicians should have to take civics tests during their campaign the results should be public. There should also be an age cap to be in any form of politics. People that are 60+ don’t represent the majority of Americans and it’s well known that mental decline ramps up around age 55. If there were no parties at all way more would get done that actually benefits Americans, and maybe fewer Americans on both sides would be brainwashed by their “news” of choice. Sorry that the Republicans haven’t given much positive to sway independents who aren’t racist homophobes or CEOs in the last 50 ish years. Dems suck too but for different reasons. They are too progressive and don’t try to appeal to the majority of Americans even though their policies work for all Americans. They are politically weak and just give up when the other side bullies them into things like not getting to nominate a Supreme Court justice in an election year… then they don’t even fight when the GOP nominated one in an election year…. They are too focused on “playing fair” when the other side isn’t interested in that at all. They fail to listen to their voters by not having a real primary for the last 3 election cycles. They are obsessed with nominating Vice presidents when that has almost never worked out for them. They don’t fight enough to get their actual policies implemented when they are in power. They are more focused on getting votes by not being their opponent, than campaigning on their own values which has led to them abandoning trying to reach young male voters. They suck because they are politically weak minded. The GOP sucks because every single policy they implement goes against helping average Americans succeed in life. I know this likely wont reach you at all, but I really don’t like either party. Get rid of every party and make people run on their personal beliefs. I like how you added nuance to your first post (where you blamed all problems in the world solely on Republicans! Very independent of you!) to then in your second post point out the flaws in Democrats by stating that all of their policies are good and correct but they’re just too passive to implement them and not great at selling them to every day voters! Republicans are bad and evil and Democrats are good and smart albeit not proactive enough! 10/10 independent argument! You get a gold star! What polices have the Republicans implemented since Reagan that have helped the working class or anyone who isn’t a millionaire? What policies have the Dems passed that hurt the working class or anyone that isn’t a millionaire? I’m perfectly fine with having a legit conversation about this. Please give me examples of why your party is good for America outside of the fact that they “owned the libs” Biden was the most Pro union president in my lifetime. A Trump judge just blocked overtime pay for 4 million union workers…. Just because I’m an independent doesn’t mean I have to say nice things about your party of choice. Especially when they have done nothing to improve the quality of life in this country in my lifetime.
