The first domino to fall in the QB carousel is the draft order.

It’s 50-50 whether or not they end up with the #2 overall pick.  Wouldn’t have said that a few weeks ago.  But my god they’ve went down the drain pretty rapidly.

He's ball placement accurate and throws with anticipation.  Probably the most mechanically sound QB coming out.

I don't know how anyone could watch the first half of that Texas/Georgia game and think geez I hope the Titans draft Carson Beck, the last thing this needs to do is waste more draft capital on a bum Q

I doubt any teams are worried about Deon's threats

I think its far more likely they win the next two games than it is they lose them. The Texans have nothing to play for and the jags are just as bad but lack the offense the Colts have.

Yea, that will give early clues on who goes where.  The point of my post was to show supply and demand as of today.

I think it’s a split.  They muster up enough points to beat HOU but lose to JAX in a close game.

I think @AussieTitanFan08 said a split probably leaves them as the same drafting spot last year 7-8

The Texans getting belted yesterday might be the best thing to happen for the Titans draft positioning they played so poorly there is now some chance that they don't sit all their starters in week 18.

Things can change between yesterday and next week but listening to Stroud and Ryans post game they sounded like two guys who expect to use the Titans matchup as a game to right the ship ahead of the playoffs.

I've seen articles saying Aiden O'Connell or Jake Browning would be affordable, solid stop-gaps. I would rather see us go with someone like them, trade down as much as possible, upgrade several other key positions, and draft a franchise QB in '26/'27.

Problem is that you gotta win some games next year and you are not going to do that with those 2.

Right now any position between 1st and 10th is still possible.

A Bears win today would narrow that range to between 1st and 9th.

Here's an ugly truth. Carr. Cousins. D'arnauld. Rogers. Fields. Wilson. Tannehill (lol).  Not one of them permanently moves the arrow towards up.

Could Sanders?

The only 'good' news is that the AFC South is so damn bad that a fortunate offseason could make the Titans relevant even with a marginal QB situation.

Last year there were only 5 teams that finished with 5 or fewer wins this year that number could be 10 teams.

That’s almost 30% of the teams!  No wonder game quality is so down this year.

That would be career suicide for Carthon/Callahan
