lol dang.    I have always liked Baker. Pretty impressive for Ran to get Jones for a 6th rounder and turn him into a 4th AND Baker

This trade shows they clearly thought they had a chance to be competitive and now reality has slapped them in the face

See that's just smart fucking business.

This might be an issue in the draft room given how myopic he is on certain players.  Does anyone see this ending well for him?

Honestly they should just fire him.  It's not like they don't have an Assistant GM, Director of Personnel, Director of Pro Personnel, and Director of College Personnel.

I get that some don't like Carthon but come on. Now we are acting like Brinker is the shadow GM because he took a call from the Seahawks GM about Jones? You guys know how this works... you reach out to your contacts to start a conversation and then you get the right people involved to make the decision. This idea Brinker is correcting Carthon's mistakes and making trades against his will is next level conspiracy shit.

That’s not the point.  Do you actually think if Brinker wasn’t there that Carthon makes the call and initiates those conversations?

Trades always start with one team reaching out to the other and I'll promise those conversations don't always start GM to GM. Carthon can't win with you guys. Flipping Jones, who clearly wasn't in the long term plans, was widely viewed as a good move by Carthon but now we have to act like he wasn't really willing to move him and that Daddy Brinker had to do something to correct the mistake of trading for Jones in the 1st place. You guys are just being silly and its multiple good posters who are doing it which is the frustrating part.

The Seahawks simply would have called Ran directly if Brinker weren’t here. They initiated it.

Schneider has one of the worst trades in getting Adams and one of the best in trading Russ.  If he doesn't fix their interior OL, people will be screaming for his head.  They already are to some extent.

I'm surprised they didn't force him out with Carrol tbh.was a good time to start over.
