I wouldn't argue against him being the best QB of all time right now

Currently , the AFC is the conference with the better qbs, like the 90s NFC.

He’ll probably break the records in half the amount of time.

Decent but not openly a game breaker. It goes back to @dcblanton bragging about the trade of Hill right after it happened. He was right.

Basically you just have to pray that their team isn’t good enough for him to will them to Super Bowls .  You almost have to have a good qb that can match him point for point.  The old way of shutting them down solely with defense won’t work.

They could be the first team to 3peat and it would be 4 of the last 6. In the SB 5 of the last 6 if they make it in 2025

Last year in the regular season Willis had the best passer rating out of all the QBs

This preseason Willis had the highest passer rating out of all the QBs

Def a glitch in the matrix

Won is the key phrase you're looking for. No non-pocket QBs have ever won a SB.

McNair isn't anything like Lamar, Cam, or Vick. He extended plays, but he was a pass first QB and in his MVP year was a pocket QB who made plays with his legs. That's completely different.

Back to the point, no non-pocket QB has ever won a SB. Until one has the argument is 100% favored on my side.

As for Mahomes, he's absolutely nothing like the three guys I mentioned above. Allen is somewhat of a hybrid in that respect, but once again he hasn't proven anything except almost making it to a SB.

Russel Wilson.

McNair isn't like them? You're the one who brought him up LOL.

Is he a better passer than them? Yes.

Okay, a not so good passer likely won't win a Superbowl.

Will a mobile athletic QB win a Superbowl? It's already happened.

Of course some will be better passer than others. Look, either you're mobile, athletic, extend plays with your legs and run effectively or you don't. That's the argument. Mahomes is absolutely a mobile, athletic QB.

Young is not viewed as a scrambling dual threat QB because of the era. If he was in this era or the pocket passer era, 100% he's a scrambler.

Steve young ran for 4-500 yards per season on the regular. Another Superbowl winning mobile QB

What Mahomes does drives me crazy. Defenses just can't keep running around and doing plaster drills without fucking up. And if they somehow manage this insanity, whoops they left Kelce wide open. 2nd half is brutal on the D against Mahomes.

I really always liked Mahomes until the 2019 AFCCG.  The fucking Houdini act got old.  When they talk about can a QB make a difference?  Carry a team?  He beat us twice when we played our hearts out.  You think you can do it, buy a some point you realize you can't.

I think Willis is miscast here in TN.  I do think the right head coach can win with him.  He has the skill set to do it.  He just needs the right HC, GM, and owner to go all in for him and let him make mistakes and learn.  The NFL is not set up this way any longer.  Y'all think Willis was bad his first three years you should have seen the first three yrs of Richard Todd and Phil Simms in NY.  I mean they were horrible.  And they lost bad.......and then new GM and HC comes in and suddenly they got a lot better.  Todd lost to a Shula fin team in slop and Simms went on to win two SB and be the MVP in one.  Plunkett is another one.  Horrendous in NE.  Way worse than Willis.  And he comes to Oak and wins two SB with avg Raider teams.

Check my thread and discuss it there. It's an interesting discussion.
