pamo9
I still harbor thoughts of Vrabel being just cocky enough to think he can win with backups. Therefore he sits players sometimes when they could play. If this is not true at all our training staff needs serious evaluation cause we have way too many strains and pulls
Dinx81
Maybe the injuries are a byproduct of playing a “physical smashmouth” style.
2ToneTerror
This thread is all that fucking matters right now. If you don’t understand that, you don’t understand shit. play calling, coaching, going for one or two points, clock management… All a distant second to this systemic injury issue. Two years straight as the most historically injured team in NFL history. You cannot be a winning franchise with this. Does not matter who your coach, coordinator, or your draft picks are. open your goddamn eyes.
scine09
Yep. The arguing about the coaching or the talent is just ignoring the main fact that they don’t have the necessary players to seriously compete. You guys wanna fire so and so? Let’s see someone else come in and design a winning game plan with Robert Woods as your number one and an offensive line that couldn’t block a bunch of old women in a nursing home. This should be the #1 thing The Nashville media should be drilling on. but they won’t.

Like, you overlook them because it isn't supposed to be systemic. So you focus on the systemic issues like starting Daley at LT all the way up until mid game week 15 (lol) and just assume they'll get a better run of injury luck at some point. It's looking like a systemic issue now though, but I've yet to see a convincing argument on how it actually is other than "just blow it up and hope the problem goes away in the chaos". Aramis
Someone needs to be held to task for the record setting injuries the last year and this year. This isn’t normal even in a physical sport. Has there ever been a team in league history to lead the league in injuries the way the titans have two years in a row? Vrabel should be looking for heads to roll instead of wearing it like a feather in his cap (“I won with the most injured roster”).
scine09
I would assume that inside Vrabel's seething about it. But he won't let that show.
AvgJoe
There is one player by my count that has not missed a game the last two years. He’s also the one guy that has a trainer he pumps up and recommends:

He is a former NSCA National Strength Coach of The Year, and was formerly employed by Middle Tennessee State as their Head Strength Coach. A good amount of Titans work with him already in the off season. Go the full way and have him run the entire program and get this team ready for actual NFL schedule. 2ToneTerror
Something has to change. If AAS is forced to instill it, people jobs are gonna get chopped. The incoming GM and Vrabel better wake the fuck and knock off any “good old boys club” shit that may be going on.

San Fran and Miami used 84 in 2020 and 2019, respectively. Titans did it 2021. Gonna do it again ‘22 and theres a good chance the cardinals do it in ‘22 as well. even if we take off the estimates for ‘22, that’s three times in the prior three years. 1/32 did it each season, I’m calling bullshit on this Rossi dude claiming 1 in 18k. This guy also bungled the number of drafted titans on 2nd contracts a few weeks back.

Meaning I think it implies that if they didn't get players to 90% of their top or game speed that they never get to full speed until the game, which makes sense would be problematic and could cause re-injury.
