code
This roster is terrible. The injuries highlight the failed draft classes and poor free agency decisions. Team is 0-5 calibre. And yet, Vrabel and his magically boring offense wins games. I recognize how many posters hate him. And I fully agree that stylistically the team is brutal to watch. But he wins. El Guapo
Correct. Conservative is the only chance for a win with this current lineup. No real chance at the ultimate prize.
IsntLifeFunny
The depth is likely the strongest point on the team, so that doesn't make much sense. Tannehill is a franchise QB and Henry is the best RB in the league. Those are from Robinson. The major UDFA hits over the years are Robinson. Hilliard and Tart were undrafted and two excellent players. The hate for Robinson is ridiculous. Even this year with us losing 2 of the top 4 contracted players for the year the team is still potentially a contender. We lost last year, the best chance at a SB since 2000, because of Vrabel...and I like Vrabel. The team is talented and deep. It's now missing major key pieces which exposes holes that wouldn't be there if those players were healthy. Absolutely ridiculous to blame Robinson. IrishTitansFan
Robinson has made some big key mistakes, but he has also drafted and signed good low cost players who are key to the teams success in Hooker, Byard, Long, Autry, Tart, Jones, Weaver, Nate Davis, NWI, Brewer etc. All of those are 3rd round or later or cheap FA guys If he starts hitting on the bigger ones again look out, he's a good GM I know OL is a concern but he drafted NPF who looks like he could be a good player and his favourite OT guy from this past class was Tyler Smith who looks great, so he can still evaluate talent there
OILERMAN
Another terrible take to cover for a previous terrible take
IrishTitansFan
Robinson also hand picked Vrabel, whole take is dumb
StephenIsLegend
Roster isn’t bad by any means. There’s a lot of talent. There’s also a ton of injuries that are holding this team back, yet they continue to win. Not a good take.
Alcibiades
Blaming JRob? Wow. Here's who we are missing right now: Landry (our best pass rusher) Lewan (our LT) Davis (our best OG) Burks (our first round WR) Farley (just kidding, but would you know he's on the field?) Cunningham (our starting ILB) Dupree (off and on) And we are 3-2, with losing game one thanks to our idiot kicker (sorry, Randy!)
Supdawg
He's a good GM, in the upper third of the league. The misses on Farley, Wilson, Dodd, Evans, Radunz, Fitzpatrick have been an absolute killer. But you have to give him credit for these guys that he drafted that are all above average starters/probowl/ all pro worthy to be fair and balanced: Conklin Henry Byard Landry Simmons Brown Davis Hooker Long Weaver and the 2022 class looks to be good as well. nine
It’s interesting that most of these debates about JRob completely overlook Denico Autry. Since becoming a Titan, Autry has consistently performed at an All-Pro level…and is doing so on a ridiculously affordable contract. Autry was an absolute grand-slam home run signing by JRob ….and hardly anyone talks about it .
Bongo59
Autry is old but man I would try to get him signed for two more yrs.

I think J Rob gets way too much credit for having winning seasons the past 5 years. I have had the belief for awhile now that Robinson was slowly depleting their roster with poor draft decisions, and sooner or later it will catch up to them. Vrabel has kept this team afloat by magically getting them to outperform their expectations, and for that he deserves most of the credit for their success. Bongo59
JRob has found a lot of UDFA who have made up for the misses. He also made some trades and FA pick ups that have paid off nicely. Vrabel has relied on Henry and Tanny and that is why he is doing well.
Bongo59
For example, rookie punter Stonehouse is a stud. JRob did well here. He leads the league in punting and is a massive weapon for this defense.
Bongo59
JRob drafting Simmons was his best moment as GM. Simmons is the heart and sole of the D and he has them all playing filthy. Look at TN 3rd down D and RZ D. If you just look at the gross numbers you miss why TN D is solid. We give up a lot of garbage yards between the 20s but when it comes to short fields and third downs were elite. This has been a trait of this defense now for 2 straight yrs.
