But people should be more worried about this transition. JRob has failed miserably at finding a replacement RT, and the idea of struggling to fill two tackle spots for an offense that depends so heavily on the OL? It's risky. Tannehill doesn't function well under constant duress. Our OL is built to be better at RB than PB. If people want to see Tannehill succeed here, he needs to be protected better. He exceeded the expectations simply because there were non as he was a healthy scratch up until that point.....As for down the road, I've seen no evidence he can play LT or RT at a high level based on what he's shown to date. Probably why he's the backup LG right now and they traded for a swing T instead of logically giving him he job since he lost the RT spot he was practically handed to NPF..... He had a good senior bowl and that's why he got drafted so high. That is not the first time JR has been accused of reaching and drafting a "need" player too high. You would think after the Wilson pick he might have been a little gun shy but apparently not. Whether or not he can be coached up by Carter is another question to be answered.
