Is Connor Williams good now? I know he had a rough start to his career

He's a plus run blocker. Biggest issue with him is penalties - but one would hope that is fixable in the same way that Lewan fixed his penalty issues.

As @tgo said his biggest issues are penalties right now, along with injuries.

Maxx Williams is one of the top TE targets for the team.

OJ Howard

Maxx Williams

Moe Alie Cox

Those guys would be who I would expect the Titans to target.

Yep, 100% agree on those.
Could see some interest in Kyle Rudolph and Tyler Conklin due to the Todd Downing connections, but I would lean towards those first three.

Durham Smythe, Pharaoh Brown, and Hayden Hurst are also guys I could easily see them pursuing.

The team needs a complete TE who can play in-line and also be a real threat in the passing game, even if the guy is a rookie who needs development.

Enough of the one dimensional guys who tip the run or pass play call.

A lot of the focus this coming off season has rightfully been on the skill people to improve the passing game.

But the Titans also have to improve their running game. A lot of the dullards think running a lot means means the Titans had a good running game. It was OK at times but if they are going to play the style Vrabel wants to play they have to be very good at running the ball. The situational running game in the playoffs was terrible, failed 4th down and 2 point conversion etc....

The Titans like 21 personnel and heavy sets. If they are going to do this they better improve their run blocking from the TE and FB sets.

Everyone keeps saying OJ Howard but I wouldn’t bother signing him. We need a proven vet TE

Max Williams makes sense to sign and utilize as the blocking TE. He would be a massive upgrade there over Firkser and Swaim

Robert Tonyan, Hayden Hurst and David Njoku are the dudes I hope we sign as the TE1 followed by a rookie in the draft and the team also signing a solid blocking TE like Conklin as mentioned here.

So true. The running game overall was as ineffective as any season I can remember, but the passing game struggles got all the attention. Not sure what the down and distance splits are off-hand, but I bet we averaged a yard on 1st down.
