nine Posted August 19 Report Share Posted August 19 It cannot be overstated how much of an embarrassing humiliation the Iran war has been for the United States on the world stage. With the world’s most powerful and technologically advanced military at his disposal. Trump started a war on a smaller, ill-equipped country in economic ruin. He said it would be over within in 3-4 weeks; six months later, Trump has not only failed to make any gains or progress whatsoever …he’s created a complete clusterfuck of global proportions. Thanks to a complete lack of strategy or planning on Trump & Hegseth, Iran was able to quickly shut down and take control of the Strait of Hormuz…and Trump’s incompetent mishandling of the situation has left the US powerless to reopen it . Trump’s goals from a few months ago are now abandoned as he’s desperately begging (and failing) to convince Iran to put things back the way they were. After repeatedly announcing we’d won the war and claiming victory over and over and over again for months….even Trump eventually realized how silly and dumb it made him look. His empty claims of victory are now abandoned, replaced with similarly empty announcements that they’re “nearing an agreement”….claims that are quickly dispelled by Iran stating no such negotiations are taking place. Trump’s ego and stupidity has stuck the US in a mess with no way out and no exit plan…a clusterfuck that even Trump can’t lie his way out of. (But he still keeps trying). This war on Iran might very well go down in history as the single biggest and just flat-out dumbest fuck-up ever made by any President in U.S. history…not just because it’s been such a disaster, but because this disaster was so unnecessary and completely avoidable. And no matter how desperately Trump tries to spin, lie, and point fingers to distance himself and wash his hands of this mess he’s created…. history books will show this humiliating and completely pointless war as having the Trump name all over it.
