It was better when Biden and Dems passed the America Recovery Act in 2021 and families were getting a little extra money every month. Until conservatives blocked extending that funding a year later anyway. Why they needed to punish families, I don’t know but that’s just what conservatives do…

Big problem is left politics messing up the supply chain, especially in Canada and California

Do you not remember how bad things were?

Not from a money standpoint for people. People have less money now than they did in 2020. Im sure your 401k was completely fine in 2020

Well my wife lost her job at the school she had been working at for a long time due to budget cuts because of the economic downturn, so for us it was an especially rough time (especially when you add in the near collapse of the federal government and the economy overall).

Since then, the company I work for has much more revenue and larger profit margins and my wife is making a lot more money now at a new job. So just from a personal anecdotal perspective, things are much better now and the country is much more stable in general.

She still got unemployment. Then how come the stock market is crashing if things are so much better?

We know, we know. When the pandemic hit, it was all Trumps fault and nothing was based on world events/economics. With Biden, all the problems are world wide and there is not much he can do.

It's not only a decent comparison, it's probably the best possible comparison. The problem is that people will dismiss any comparison on the inevitable and unavoidable lack of perfect sameness when comparing two distinct things ... provided they don't like what the comparison suggests.

It isn’t a great comparison because of our political structures and how differently they operate.

Yes, the guy who disbanded the pandemic response team is responsible for fucking up the pandemic response.

Yeah, no credit for getting the government to approve vaccines. It's OK. We know you will die on the Biden hill no matter what.

For all the people you laugh at defending Trump, you are exactly the same with Biden. Good thing you found a safe place here with the other 20 left loons.

correct, no credit for the vaccines that he couldn’t get his own supporters to take after he’d completely politicized the issue with his bullshit.  He tried and got booed at his own rallies.

Nice deflection. I said fresh water. As in drinking water. Of course you have nothing but bootlicking for the energy sector as usual.

What do his supporters have to do with the fact that the vaccines got approved in record time? You keep moving the goalposts.

Luckily the markets are forecasted to rebound after the low. The thing about capitalism is that markets ebb and flow. It's a beautiful thing.

There is no beautiful thing about capitalism.

one of my goalposts for a president is “don’t kill hundreds of thousands of Americans”.  I know that’s a tough one for ya.
